I heard rumors of possible snow down to 6000' elevation this weekend in the Sierras. That's way above Jackson Rancheria, but means that the nights are going to be much cooler up there. I'm heading back up next Friday for a few days.

Okay, we officially feel horrible cuz we're can't head off to SAL. We will be eagerly waiting to see pictures of the big weekend (including any of Doug's nrw cuts, bruises, etc.)

What a good husband. A new dishwasher and dinner should get you a few points.
Congrats on passing the motorcycle course, too. My first motorcycle got stolen the day after I took it home. We think that the family that sold it to me followed me home and then came back the next day. The dad wanted it sold because the teenage sons were messing up in school. The boys probably got it back and hid it somewhere or took it to the desert. Still have my motorcycle license but no bike anymore.

Molly is such a great dog. We hope she'll be able to adjust quickly.
We had a small dog that had knee surgery years ago. The Vet sliced open the WRONG knee first and then proceeded to fix the right knee. Poor dog walked around on just her front legs for several days. Hate to say it, but even though we felt SO bad for the dog, she was so funny to watch. She did fine. Hopefully, Molly will, too.

You know I love your TC! It goes everywhere AND has all the amenities. Great combination plus it will tow your Samari, boat, quads, etc. Now that the MH is gone you can get back to your one-beer-a-day diet, too! :B :B

Hi, Kevin & Dawn, and welcome! I've been away from the Internet for a few days so didn't get to welcome you earlier. This is a great group, John & Marcelle have done a great job in putting this excusion together, and Jackson Rancheria is a beautiful spot.
Our DD lives in Hayward. She has 13 month old twin boys, so we get up there fairly often.
We had a small Class C for many years before taking the leap to a Class A in 2005. Like Butch said, we love the MH, but it can't go lots of places that the Class C would go. We've gotten pretty spoiled having an icemaker, microwave/convection, 2 TV's, storage, slides, etc.
We look forward to meeting you next month!

Hi Bill & Vernetta! We're not able to go to SAL this time either. Maybe February. Sounds like Big Sur would be fun, too.
Doug, what can I say? I just hope that everyone at SAL keeps their cameras handy. Just be careful about waterskiing, fishing, sailing, towing, hiking, lusting, and .... whatever. Juanita, don't forget the first aid kit. :B Try to have a safe trip.

I like it Rick. Is this the same one you mentioned a few months ago.
Yep, it's the same one. I'm going back up around the 17th and will start work on it. First project is to get it watertight (without plastic sheeting.) Then, I'll see if refrig., furnace, water heater, elec., etc. work. The water pump is sitting on a shelf, so there will be some plumbing to do, too. I should probably look for a place for an HD TV, too, but that can wait.

Well, the dog does need a little more space... :B
If I ever get it road-worty it would be nice for county and start parks, etc. Until then, it will make a nice "cabin" on our tree farm in Pioneer.

We have a new RV! Well, it's not new (1975). And it can barely be called an RV. Let's just say it need some upgrades...like inside paneling, some new ceiling, kitchen counter/sink/stove, dinette, couch/bed...but the bathroom is pretty much intact (except the ceiling.)
The guy I got it from had purchased it from another guy who had been using it as a "cabin". After he bought it he started stripping out the interior. He did buy new roof vents and fresh water tank, but nothing was installed. Bumper to hitch it's 25'.
The bad news is that it won't be ready for SAL. :(
